One of the best and largest of the red-fleshed apples. Produces a medium to large fruit with dark red, glossy skin. Flesh is blood red, producing a red juice. Produces an exceptional jelly, blood red cider, or vinegar. Makes a unique pie as well, but it is most commonly used in production of a beautiful, bittersweet, dry, blush cider. Resistant to most diseases.
