Orleans Reinette is an apple originally from France 1776. The apple is medium to small, yellow-green with light netlike russeting, reddish on the sun side. It is wide and squat. Flesh is creamy white, firm and fine-textured and very juicy with a taste first of sweet oranges followed by a nutty flavor. Flavor is complex. Tree has moderate vigour, very hardy, good cropper. Best in a warm location.
