An excellent dessert apple. Unique, pleasing flavor. Large, red striped fruit. Firm, crisp, aromatic flesh with high sugar content. Rates high as a pie and sauce apple. Tolerant to scab, and fireblight. Tree is early annual bearing, hardy and vigorous.
